Camden has been learning how to fall asleep on his own by crying it out and I am the one who is tired. How does that work? Actually it is getting better. We started this on Monday and he is already falling asleep at night without crying anymore but nap time is a little different. The first few days he cried for a full hour. No, it wasn't crying, it was screaming and kicking his crib. Chad came home during the first day and asked if I heard him crying. Yes, I think I heard that, the whole frickin' neighborhood probably did too! It was a little rough those first days. It is getting better. We have a new nap time routine that is making it easier for him to get into sleepy mode and it is taking less than 20 minuets for him to fall asleep now. According to the book, I should have done this when he was 4 months old. Well how was I supposed to know that. O' well, we are doing it now. What I really don't like is that he now wakes up earlier. Ugh, 7 am if I'm lucky. For a mom that doesn't work, that sucks. And there is no difference between a Saturday or a Wednesday. I think he is ready to sleep over at grandma's house, any takers? He still gets up twice a night to eat. I know it sounds appealing.
Now, if I can just get that little monster to eat more baby food and less milk, we will be all good. I can't keep up with him. He takes 4-5 spoonfuls of baby food and decides he is done. Then tries to smack the spoon out of my hand, it is getting a little messy. He likes his graham cracker sticks that Grandma Miller bought him though. I've tried to give him a little formula in his bottle to get him slowly used to it, nope, not having it. I don't blame him, that stuff stinks. It probably taste like crap too.
