Camden has arrived!!!
I guess I was wrong about Camden being in it for the long haul and he listened to his daddy. He came into the world Saturday, June 21st at 11:23pm, weighing in at 7lbs and 13ozs and 20 3/4 inches long. He is a long skinny baby, but so cute. He did make me work though. I started having contractions about 11:30 Friday night that never went away and they kept me up all night long. I called my mom about 5 am Saturday to let her know she might not want to go fishing and to come back from Michigan City. The contractions started to get stronger around 9 am and we went to the hospital at 11am. I checked in and was 4 cm dilated. After a few hours I got the epi. and it slowed my labor down so they induced me. It was taking so long and after 2 hours of pushing, he finally came out, with the cord around his neck, but he was just fine and still is. We are both doing great and still trying to adjust. Chad has the whole week off and is taking care of us. I could not do this without him. He was great through out the whole labor also. He did so much more than I expected and I love him even more for it. Chad will post pictures later, we are both really tired.

Grandma O is waiting to see Camden again until mom and dad have had some rest. Camden is beautiful ! Great job Heather and Chad, you made my dreams complete. Hugs and kisses to you all.
Chad, your father would be so thrilled if he was with us today. I know he is with us daily and smiling down on his three terrific sons and all the sweet grandbabies. He would have been so very proud of his sons.
Heather and Chad, Trey and I are both so happy for the two of you! Welcome to life as parents! There is no owners manual, and no step by step guide; it's all trial and error. Every baby is different. I can't wait to meet my new nephew! Only 4 more weeks and we will be there. I hope you are doing well, sleep whenever you can. Ashlyn is so excited that you had a boy and can't wait to meet her new cousin. She says we need a boy too! Maybe your luck will rub off on me. See you soon.
Congratulations you guys!!!! See Heather, Chad was right about the due date and the weight (didn't you say at your shower that Camden would be 8lbs something?) I am soo happy for you both and I am not surprised that Chad stepped up to the plate - he still gives me hope in the guy species:)Haha! I wish I could have seen you and what I am sure is a beautiful baby boy - I wasn't feeling well this week and that's why I am just now getting back to you. Again, I am so happy for you both and cannot wait to see all 3 of you.
